Chelsea drew 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday despite being down a man for the whole second half.

In the third minute of first-half stoppage time, Blues defender Reece James was sent off for a deliberate handball on the goalline. After a short assessment of the film, referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot, allowing Mohamed Salah to equalize.

With a looping header off a corner kick, Kai Havertz gave Chelsea the lead in the 22nd minute.

Chelsea and Liverpool are level on seven points with West Ham and Everton at the top of the Premier League standings after three games.
