Pillars,Tornadoes Crash OUT Of Federation Cup

Kano Pillars Wednesday  were sent crashing from the Federation Cup by Prime FC, who won 2-1 to advance to the round of 16.

Another lower league side Crown FC beat Niger Tornadoes 5-4 on penalties after both teams were deadlocked at 1-1 at the end of regulation time.

However, other Nigeria premier league sides advanced to the next stage of the cup competition.

Sunshine Stars outscored Abia Comets 4-2 on penalties after full time scores stood at 1-1, Nasarawa stopped Go Round FC 1-0, Rivers United thumped Kaduna United 4-0 and Shooting Stars went past Almar FC 3-0.
