Nigeria winger, Philip Otele has joined Al Wanda FC in the UAE First division on a four-year deal from CFR Cluj in Romania, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.
The 25-year-old is reported a four-year contract which keeps him with the club till the summer of 2028 for an annual salary of €1.5 million after €3.5 million was paid to CFR Cluj for his services.
Expressing his excitement about the move, Otele stated, "I am extremely happy and excited for the upcoming challenges and competitions with Al Wahda. I am proud to wear this badge and grateful for the warm welcome and confidence from the club’s leadership and management.
He scored 18 goals and made 8 assists in 45 appearances last season.
