PFAG resolve to have more interactions in crusade for enhance welfare for active players
PFAG members met on Thursday

Several other prominent former and current Ghana players have joined the PFAG’s crusade for enhanced welfare of active players.

The professional body which is a branch of FIFpro held a meeting on Thursday to reach a resolution to strengthen and intensify their campaign.

Present at the meeting were the likes of; Anthony Baffoe, Ibrahim Tanko, Samuel Osei Kuffour, C.K Akunnor, Augustine Arhinful, Thomas Duah and Stephen Appiah.

Laryea Kingston, Razak Braimah, Awal Mohammed, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu and Jonathan Mensah round up the list of attendees at the meeting.

PFAG General Secretary Anthony Baffoe brought members up to speed with the progress made so far by the association while ideas were also shared on how to enhance their campaign for improved welfare for active players especially for the ones on the local scene.

PFAG have made a proposal to have minimum salary caps for Premier League players which is being considered by the Ghana FA’s Executive Committee.

Members agreed to interact more in order to share ideas and the modern trends of football administration and management across the globe.

The PFAG have at the forefront of mediating for and on behalf of several players home and abroad especially on contractual issues.
