Peterborough United have announced major shake-up in the squad ahead of the new season with Nigeria descent winger Divine Ajiboye among the players to leave the Posh club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Following the conclusion of his contract, winger David Ajiboye has departed the club after concluding the 2024-2025 campaign on-loan with Newport County as officially confirmed by the Sky Bet League outfit while also confirming the retained list.
The club has extended a contract offer to Tayo Edun whose current deal is set to expire this month. However, despite ongoing discussions, no agreement has been reached as of yet. Simultaneously, the club is engaged in talks with several other players who are entering the final year of their respective contracts, indicating a proactive approach to securing key personnel for the future.
In positive news for the club's youth ranks, promising young striker Bolu Shofowoke has signed a scholarship contract, highlighting the club's commitment to nurturing young talent.
