Peter Olayinka and Igoh Ogbu's Slavia Praha emerged champions of the MOL Cup after beating Sparta Praha in the final of the competition on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Praha defeated their rivals by two goals to nil to win the most prestigious domestic cup at the Epet Arena in Letena.
The first half ended barren despite attempts by but sides in which Slavia had the edge.
However, in the second half the goals came as David Doud?ra and an own goal by Panák sealed the win.
The winner of the MOL Cup 2023 will secure participation in the 3rd preliminary round of the Europa League qualification for the 2023 - 2024 season.
Meanwhile, Igoh Ogbu played the entire duration of the game, but his fellow countryman, Peter Olayinka was in action as he was unwell, but was present to receive the trophy.
