Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is considering attending the club’s next home fixture, according to The Real Tolmie’s Hairdoo, which cited a source within the club.
The report says Guardiola has told Manchester City’s leadership that he wants to be present to support the team during what it describes as a difficult period. The Spanish coach is therefore weighing a visit to Manchester for the club’s upcoming home game.
Manchester City were previously found guilty of financial wrongdoing. The club, however, denies the allegations.
Enzo Maresca’s side will first travel to face Liverpool on 11 October in the sixth round of the Premier League. Manchester City will then host PSG on 14 October in the second round of the league phase of the Champions League.
That match is expected to be the next opportunity for Guardiola to attend a Manchester City home fixture, should he decide to return to the club.
