Paul Onuachu scores first English Premier League goal, as Ola Aina assist in Nottingham Forest's win against Southampton

Nigeria Super Eagles Paul Onuachu scored his first goal in English Premier League in fixture Southampton's loss over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Onuachu scored one as the Saints lost 3-2 against the Reds at the City Ground on match day 21.

Elliot Anderson opened score for Forest in the 11th minutes before Callum Hudson-Odoi doubled the lead for the hosts 9 minutes later.

Ola Aina found Chris Wood in the 41st minutes for the third goal for Forest who outclassed their visitors in the first half.

Lesley Ugochukwu hit a shot that was deflected into the net by Jan Bednarek  in the 60th minutes to reduce the deficit for Southampton.

Nikola Milenkovic would have made it 4-1, but his 64th minutes strike was called off after VAR check.

Paul Onuachu pulled another goal back for the Saints after additional time with an header while Jan Bednarek's header was destined for goal, but Aina made a vital intervention to give Forest the win.

Taiwo Awoniyi for Nottingham Forest while Joe Aribo for Southampton both took part the game.
