Paris'24: Oparanozie charges Falcons for victory

Reactions continue to trail coach Randy Waldrum's list for the 2024 Paris Olympics female football competition, the latest coming from Super Falcons legendary forward, Desire Oparanozie, writes Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Waldrum on Wednesday released a list comprising of 18 players with top stars like Asisat Oshoala, Ajaibade Rasheedat, and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie all included.

This generator some heats on media with some heaping praises on the gaffer while others felt he could've done better in his choices.

Reacting also to the trend, Desire Oparanozie who is a legend of the game in Nigeria showered encomium on the team while wishing them all the best in the tournament.

"All the best Team??. Will be cheering from here. Go and conquer??," Oparanozie wrote on her X page.

Oparanozie retire from professional after the 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The Super Falcons will face Brazil, Spain and Japan in the group C of their first Olympics campaign since the 2008 Beijing Games.

They kickoff their games against Brazil on Thursday 25th of July, 2024. They face Spain three days later and wrap up the group stages against Japan on Wednesday 31st of July, 2024.
