Following Super Falcons ouster from the 2024 Paris Olympics, captain of the team, Rasheedat Ajibade has expressed her disappointment over the team's inability to attain the desired results, Nigriasoccernet.com writes.
The Super Falcons lost all of their 3 group games in the Paris 2024 Olympics, falling 1-0 to Brazil, 1-0 to Spain and 3-1 to Japan in their last game.
Speaking on the aftermath of the results, Ajibade expressing her dissapointments appreciated Nigerians for their supports while promising to bounce back with her teammates.
"It was a disappointing outcome in the end for the team after three tough tests against some of the best football teams in the world. We thank you for your endless love and support. We appreciate every one of you. In all, we give thanks to God," she wrote on her X page.
