Paris Brunner’s emergence puts PSG and Borussia Dortmund on alert

Paris Brunner’s impressive start to the season has attracted the attention of Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund, with both clubs monitoring the AS Monaco striker’s progress.

The 18-year-old is regarded as a player with significant potential, and the two European clubs are understood to view him as a promising long-term investment, according to Ekrem Konur.

Borussia Dortmund have maintained an interest in the young forward, but could now face competition from Paris Saint-Germain. The French club are preparing for the future and are monitoring several promising African players in Ligue 1, including Brunner.

The attacker, who is originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has made a strong impact at Monaco this season. He has played eight matches in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.

That record has underlined Brunner’s effectiveness in front of goal and his growing influence on his side’s results. His performances have also increased his appeal in the transfer market, with both PSG and Dortmund continuing to assess his situation.

Brunner is under contract with AS Monaco until June 2028. His market value is estimated at 15m euros by Transfermarkt, although it remains unclear whether either interested club will make a formal approach for his services.

If his current form continues, Brunner could become one of the players attracting the most attention during the next transfer windows. Monaco’s long-term agreement with the forward places the club in a strong position should interest from PSG or Dortmund develop into concrete negotiations.

Dortmund are due to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the seventh round of the German league season.
