Kotoko midfielder Owusu Jackson has pleaded for patience from the club's fans in the wake of their unflattering campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight.
The Ghanaian champions are under stress to defend their Premier League crown after slipping to a lowly 11th on the table.
Back-to-back defeats to Heart of Lions and New Edubiase has worsened their position, prompting speculations about the future of coach David Duncan and chief executive Samuel Opoku Nti.
But the 26-year-old, who joined the side from Berekum Chelsea in January, has urged for calm.
"We hate losing but at the moment it's been difficult for us," he said
"I will plead with the supporters to be patient with us. The league is far from over and we can turn things around.
"I hope fans have patience because all the players here are working hard to give them the joy they deserve."
The Porcupine Warriors will play as guest of Great Olympics in Accra in a must-win game.
