Former England international, Owen Hargreaves insists things could have been different should Napoli striker Victor Osimhen feature on Wednesday night at the San Siro, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Napoli although was unlucky in the first-leg of the quarter final tie against AC Milan in the Champions League, but sure missed the presence of the Nigeria international.

The Partenopei lost on the Night 1-0 and have struggled in the absence of the red hot striker. With this, Hargreaves has identified the Nigerian as one of the club’s irreplaceable stars.

“I don’t think they have the quality to replace Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen. If you look at the teams, you look at Real Madrid and Manchester City, those type of teams the amount of depth they have, five or six players,” Hargreaves said on BT Sport.

Osimhen is expected to be fit for the second leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium next Tuesday.

The 24 year-old, who is the leading goalscorer in the Italian Serie A, having netted 21 times in the league this season, has been out injured since he returned from the international break last month.
