Ousmane Dembele has joked that he could share the Ballon d’Or with Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia if he wins the award for a second successive year.
The France forward is included on the list of nominees for the 2026 prize and was asked who he would give the trophy to.
Dembele named Kvaratskhelia, before joking that the award could be divided between them.
“We’ll saw it in half,” Dembele said.
The 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony will be held in London on Monday, 26 October.
The record for the most Ballon d’Or awards belongs to Lionel Messi, with the Argentina international having won the prize eight times.
