Ousmane Dembele has agreed a new long-term contract with PSG and is set to remain with the Parisian club until 2030.
The 29-year-old France forward’s existing relationship with the club will be extended under an agreement that is expected to be formally completed in the coming weeks, according to L’Equipe.
Dembele had attracted interest from Saudi Arabia, but has opted to continue his career in Paris. The decision ensures PSG will retain one of their key attacking players for the foreseeable future, with the new contract set to run for another four years beyond the current season.
The agreement represents a further commitment from Dembele to the club he joined in the summer of 2023 from Barcelona. Since moving to PSG, he has established himself as an important member of the squad and has produced a significant attacking contribution.
Dembele has made 138 appearances for PSG, scoring 61 goals and providing 43 assists for his team-mates. His record includes a direct role in 104 goals for the club, underlining his influence since arriving in the French capital.
Although interest emerged from Saudi Arabia, Dembele decided that his future would remain at PSG rather than pursue a move away from Paris. The terms of the new agreement have been reached, with the final formalities expected to take place within the next few weeks.
The contract will keep Dembele at PSG through 2030, extending a relationship that began after his transfer from Barcelona in 2023. His continued presence gives the club a settled option in attack and preserves the partnership between the player and the Parisian side.
PSG have yet to formally complete the paperwork, but the agreement means Dembele is expected to continue wearing the club’s colours for the long term. His decision follows the reported interest from Saudi Arabia and confirms his preference to remain in Paris.
With 138 matches, 61 goals and 43 assists already recorded for PSG, Dembele’s next contract will take him into the latter stages of his twenties and beyond. The French forward will now continue with the club where he has spent the period since leaving Barcelona, subject to the agreement being officially signed in the coming weeks.
