“Our objective is to beat the Super Eagles Again”- Benayada

Algeria defender Houcine Benayada is fully aware that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be out for revenge when they meet in his place of birth, Oran, today.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will go head to head with the Desert Foxes of Algeria and will be hoping to avenge their defeat in recent meetings against the North Africans.

The Algerians have been on the winning side in the last two meetings between both African nations.

The 2021 Arab Cup Champions defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 in the semi-final at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and also defeated the West Africans 1-0 in an International friendly.

“We are going to face a very good team from Nigeria, even if we also had enormous difficulties to overcome the Guineans who caused us a lot of problems during the previous match,”the Wydad AC defender was quoted by dzfoot.com.

“We know that the players of Nigeria will face us with a spirit of revenge since we remain on two victories against them, but our objective will be to beat them again and improve on the previous match.” the 30 year old added

Tonight's game  will be held at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium. Kick off is 8pm Nigeria time.
