Nigeria's Victor Osimhen continued his scoring form as he was on the score sheet in Napoli's win over Udinese in the Italian Serie A on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The Super Eagles striker opened scoring for the league leaders as early as the 16th minutes in their 3-2 win.
Osimhen suspended himself in the air and connected mildly but intelligently with the ball to bag his 9th serie A goal and 10th in all competitions for the 22/23 season.
It is a testament to the blistering form of the striker who has gone on to score 7 goals in his last 6.
With this goal, despite missing an entire month of action due to injury, he is currently the top scorer of the Serie A scoring charts with 9 goals, 2 more than Lautaro Martínez and Marko Arnautovic.
Osimhen was in action for the entire 90 minute duration of the game.
On the side of the field, were Osimhen's compatriot, forward Isaac Success and defender Kingsley Ehizibue who played for Udinese for 64 and 90 minutes respectively.
Success who started from the bench assisted the first goal which propelled almost a comeback for Udinese after they were three goals down. It was his third assist of the season.
Napoli move 11 points clear atop the table after win as the league go break for the world cup which starts on the 20th of November.
