Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen was on target as Galatasaray secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Goztepe in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen opened the scoring from the penalty spot after just 10 minutes, netting his 10th league goal of the campaign. The 26-year-old striker was replaced by Michy Batshuayi in the 87th minute.
Goztepe drew level three minutes before the half-hour mark through Romulo Cardoso da Cruz, but Yunus Akgun's 61st-minute strike sealed the win for Galatasaray.
The victory keeps Galatasaray in contention for the Turkish Super Lig title, while Goztepe remain in the relegation zone.
