Victor Osimhen has resumed team training with Galatasaray as he edges closer to a return from injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker had undergone surgery after suffering an arm injury during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool last month.

After an initial recovery period in the gym, the Nigerian international has now progressed to partial team training as part of his rehabilitation process.

In an official update, Galatasaray confirmed that Osimhen is gradually reintegrating into full training under close medical supervision.

“Victor Osimhen trained with the team during the first part of the session and continued his work according to a specialized program prepared for him, accompanied by physiotherapists on the field and in the gym,” the club stated.

The 27-year-old is expected to be considered for selection ahead of Galatasaray’s upcoming clash with Gençlerbirli?i next weekend.

Osimhen has been in impressive form this season, registering 12 goals and four assists in 19 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds before his injury setback.
