Victor Osimhen scored twice on his way to opening his goal account for Galatasaray, but it wasn't enough to secure victory as they were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw by Kasimpasa at the RAMS Park, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian striker broke the deadlock in the 20th minute and doubled his tally just eight minutes later, helping Okan Buruk's side maintain their unbeaten Turkish Super Lig record this season.

Argentina's Mauro Icardi added Galatasaray's third in the 34th minute, but Kasimpasa fought back through goals from Mamadou Fall, Haris Hairadinovic, and Nuno Da Costa.

Kasimpasa's Kenneth Omeruo, Osimhen's Nigerian compatriot, played 70 minutes in the entertaining encounter.

Osimhen, replaced by Dries Mertens at halftime, has now contributed two goals and four assists in four outings for Galatasaray.

The 25-year-old's impressive start will boost Galatasaray's title ambitions, and manager Okan Buruk will hope Osimhen's scoring form continues.

Galatasaray remains unbeaten in the Turkish Super Lig, but will seek to return to winning ways in their next outing against RFS in Europa and Alanyaspor in the league.
