Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has been praised for the growth of Nigeria younger Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen’s six month in Italy under former coach Gennaro Gattuso was unimpressive for a club record signing.
Things however took a new turn under Spalletti contributing 14 goals and five assists last season despite missing a good chunk through injury.
Oscar Damiani, the agent of Victor Osimhen, has revealed that the Super Eagles striker's game has dramatically improved, thanks to working with Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti.
The Nigerian and top scorer in the Italian Serie A with nine goals has been hugely influential in Napoli's superb season so far.
Damiani told TMW Radio via BSNsport: "The Napoli directors must be acknowledged for having bought strong players without overpaying them and enhancing them also through the coach's work.
"Osimhen has characteristics that will allow him to be a protagonist for a long time. He is fast, moves a lot and has a strong head.
"Spalletti's game has improved many players and Osimhen is one of them."
The 23-year-old is one of the most exciting young striker across Europe and it is left to be seen if he will stay beyond this season in Italy with interest from top clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and so many more.
