Inter have been identified as the strongest contenders to win another Serie A title, with Opta giving the Milan club almost a 45% chance of lifting the Scudetto.
Roma are considered the second most likely winners, with a probability of almost 22%.
Opta’s projections are far less favourable towards Milan, who have been assigned only a 5.46% chance of claiming the title.
The forecast also places Milan fifth in the rankings for a top-four finish. They are rated less likely to secure Champions League qualification than both Como and Juventus.
Inter are the reigning Italian champions, while Milan last won the Scudetto in 2022.
