Arsenal are the first team to record two comeback victories in the Premier League this season, according to Opta.
Mikel Arteta’s side came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 in their sixth-round match, having also overturned a 1-0 deficit to defeat Chelsea 2-1 in their previous game at Emirates.
Opta’s analysis showed a marked change in Arsenal’s attacking output after Leeds took the lead. The London club registered five shots in the 15 minutes that followed the opening goal, a period that included both goals that turned the match in their favour.
That total matched the number of shots Arsenal had managed during the first 55 minutes of the game, before Leeds scored.
The result also continued a difficult trend for Leeds when protecting a lead. They have dropped five points from winning positions in the Premier League this season.
Only Bournemouth, who have lost nine points after going ahead, and Brentford, who have surrendered six, have given up more points from winning positions.
