Heartland FC's open screening will mark its third day tomorrow, Wednesday 24th July, 2024 with players trooping in from every part of the country to take part in the exercise that will end on Saturday, July 27th, 2024.
The Naze Millionaires started the build up to the start of the season with an open screening for relatively unknown players to have the chance to play for the club ahead of the new season.
The open screening is being conducted under seasoned coaches and the successful players would be picked and will be told to resume almost immediately with the retained players and some invited experienced players to commence the second phase of the preparations.
The open screening which ends on Saturday is taken place at the practice pitch behind the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri as from 7am daily as the club strives to connect with the grassroots to ensure that the best from the open screening that possess the tenacity and hunger to play get the chance to feature for the former Nigeria league champions in the forth coming season.
In a press release, Heartland FC also disclosed that the retained players should by this notice resume immediately for the start of the new season as the club is putting all hands on deck to achieve set goals and objectives for the season.
Heartland FC didn't have a good season last term and efforts have been intensified to ensure the Owerri side return with a bang in the forthcoming season.
