Two days after her twenty-ninth birthday Super falcon forward Desire Oparanozie gave her words gratitude to everyone who made he feel special on her birthday.
Oparanozie is a house hold name on the continent of Africa winning four Africa Women's Championships (WAFCON). She scored crucial goals that helped the Super Falcons win three titles. However, she missed the 2022 WAFCON tournament in Morocco, where Nigeria finished fourth.
The Dijon striker on Monday via twitter handle took timeout to appreciate everyone who made her day “special.”
“Special thanks and appreciation to everyone who made my day special, every of your wishes, prayers, gifts and surprises were well received. THANK YOU!!!” Desire tweeted.
Besides winning the Chinese Cup with her club, Oparanozie bagged numerous trophies with the Super Falcons, which include: Four African Women's Championship ) - 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018, 2014 Golden Boot winner at African Women's Championship.
