Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka made a memorable Bundesliga debut, providing an assist as Augsburg secured a 3-1 victory over St. Pauli, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Onyeka, who joined on a season-long loan from Brentford on transfer deadline day, was surprisingly named in the starting lineup by manager Jess Thorup, despite only training with his teammates for the first time on Friday.

The 26-year-old defensive midfielder repaid Thorup's faith, teeing up Philip Tietz for Augsburg's second goal in the 66th minute.
