Onuachu fit again for Southampton's Tottenham clash

Southampton manager, Russell Martin has confirmed that striker Paul Onuachu is available for selection again after recovering from injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Onuachu has been sidelined since suffering an injury in the Premier League match against Liverpool last month. However, he will be included in the matchday squad for Sunday's clash with Tottenham Hotspur at St Mary's Stadium.

"Jan Bednarek's back, Paul Onuachu's back, which is really good, and apart from that we're all good," Martin revealed during a press conference.

Despite Onuachu's 16-game goal drought since joining the Saints, Martin praised the Nigerian striker's unique qualities.

"Paul gives us a real alternative option that's different to anyone in the squad and most people in the league actually," Martin said.

"He was really unfortunate at the timing of his injury as he was in such a good place and was going to really help us, and now he's going to help us moving forwards."

Southampton will host Tottenham on Sunday, seeking to improve their league standings.
