ARSENAL have reportedly blocked Alex Iwobi from representing Nigeria at the Olympic Games.
The 20-year-old has been named in Under-23 coach Samson Siasia's provisional 35-man squad and it was previously suggested the Gunners would allow him to represent his country.
But AfricanFootball.com claim the club have changed their mind and ruled him out of the competition.
A source close to Iwobi told the website: "Arsenal have taken a decision on Alex, he will not be going to the Olympics with Nigeria.
