Oliseh Receives Best Coach Award

Former Super Eagles captain and coach, Sunday Ogorchukwu Oliseh marked his happy day of going home with the gong of best manager in the Dutch second division with victory for his side, as Fortuna Sittard snatched a 4-0 win against FC Oss.

Late goals by Lisandro Semedo (70th minute), Ferry de Regt (72), Stefan Askovski (75) and Djibril Dianessy (81) ensured a mammoth win for Oliseh’s team, and he was glad to cite it as a symbolic mark to his award.

The win came on the evening Oliseh received the prize, for which he had been nominated the previous week, and the former battling midfielder quickly took to Twitter to reveal his level of joy.

Oliseh gave thanks to God for making the feat possible, while also acknowledging the role played by his players, the club’s officials and their fans.
