Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has dedicated the team’s 3-0 friendly game win against Cameroon on Sunday to fans who showed their support in spite of all the setbacks.

The Eagles bounced back from Thursday’s loss to DR Congo to trounce their age-long rivals, despite an ugly spat between Oliseh and Vincent Enyeama.

The row led to accusations and counter-accusations from both men and Enyeama retired from international football as a result.

Oliseh wrote on his Twitter handle on Monday: “I dedicate this scintillating victory of the Super Eagles over Cameroon to all ‘true’ Naija fans who irrespective of all the lies believed.”

Goals from Efe Ambrose, Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo sealed the win for the Eagles.

It was Oliseh’s second win since taking charge of the team after defeating Niger Republic in another friendly game. The Eagles, who are second in their 2017 Cup of Nations qualifying group, will take on leaders Egypt in March next year.
