Nigeria defender Olisa Ndah faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a tibia fracture, his South African club Orlando Pirates has confirmed, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Ndah sustained the injury during Pirates' league clash against Polokwane City last month, despite being named Man of the Match.
"The Bucs medical department has confirmed that the 26-year-old has suffered a tibia fracture," a statement on the club's official website read.
"Due to the location and nature of the injury, the decision on surgery is not straightforward, but based on this type of injury, Ndah has been ruled out for the rest of the year."

The injury has already forced Ndah to miss Nigeria's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against Libya.
Ndah's prolonged absence will be a significant blow to both Orlando Pirates and the Super Eagles.
The center-back will focus on rehabilitation, aiming for a 2025 return.
