Super Eagles defender Ola Aina is poised to feature among the substitutes in Nottingham Forest's forthcoming away clash against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Aina, in a recent post on the official Forest Facebook account, was spotted participating in training sessions, indicating his progress toward full fitness from an injury sustained during Nigeria's participation in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Despite his return to fitness, the 26-year-old versatile full-back has yet to make an appearance for Forest since his return from international duty.

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo, speaking to the media on Friday, disclosed that Aina will commence the game against Brighton from the bench.

Aina’s last appearance for Nottingham Forest was against Manchester United on December 30, where Forest secured a 2-1 victory at the City Ground.
