Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina has left the Super Eagles camp for England, officials have confirmed, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
He was substituted in the 83rd minute, making way for Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Aina is suspected to have suffered injury and fatigue during Thursday's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic in Abidjan.
His club in the wake of this has requested the fullback return to England for Medicaid ahead of the big clash against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
Aina has now returned to Forest and as a result, will miss Monday's final AFCON qualifier against Rwanda in Uyo.
