Super Eagles defender has credited his goalscoring run to head coach Nuno Espirito Santo's tactical brilliance after his goal in the away game against Brentford yesterday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 0-2 win for Aina and Nottingham means that they claimed an infamous away victory against the Bees who fell to a first home defeat of the Premier League season at Gtech Community Stadium.
"The gaffer did say when you have a full-back on the ball in the crossing areas, I got to get in the box and being in around it just to affect it. Luckily, it fell to me and, just put it in the back of the net," Aina stated during his post match assessment.
"It was alright, it was a cultured one, you know, nothing too fancy, just get me side foot, cool, you know so it was alright."
With his current deal set to expire next year, the club have already begun extension talks with his camp as they near an agreement for one of their key assets.
