Former Rangers International of Enugu captain, James Okwuosa says it was great for him to end the season in South Africa on a high with Chippa United before his departure to Orlando Pirates.

The 25-year-old Okwuosa sealed a move to Pirates on Friday, on the eve of Chippa’s last league game of the season against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday which sealed their place in the top eight and a place in the Super 8 for next season.

Okwuosa, who will play for Orlando Pirates next season, after completing a move to The Buccaneers, starred for Chippa as they beat Chiefs 2-0 at the FNB Stadium to finish sixth on the table.

“It’s a great feeling for me to help the club finish in the top eight and for the first time too,” Okwuosa, who said he was delighted to have helped Chippa finish in such a position for the first time in the PSL, told AfricanFootball.com.
