The Oluyole Warriors have been on a fine run of form this second stanza recording their second win on the road in the half against Pillars this evening, the first coming in their away at Gombe against Doma United.

League legend, Rabiu Ali put Pillars ahead as early as the 2nd minute of the encounter, the lead they held on to going into the break.

With just 3 minutes into the second half, Taye Murtala shocked the huge crowd at the Sani Abacha Stadium as he levelled things for the visitors.

Despite reported threats on one of the assistant referee (AR) during the last water break, the Oluyole Warriors were unmoved as Christian Pyagbara scored deep into stoppage time (90+4') to hand Gbenga Ogunbote led side a great away win as they continue their pursuit for a continental slot.

The result pushed Shooting Stars to sixth on the log, 3 points behind Remo Stars who occupy the last continental spot as they  host title chaser Lobi Stars to the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan on Sunday.

Pillars  on the other hand saw their continental ambition suffered another setback after the 5-0 whitewash in Aba last Wednesday. They travel to Benin on Saturday for a date with Bendel Insurance.
