Despite a dominant performance by Shooting Stars against Enyimba FC on Sunday, the team failed to find the back of the net leading to a goalless draw in front of the large Adamasingba Stadium, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The result has left the club's head coach Gbenga Ogunbote worried, although he assured the fans of a better outing next time while also urging them to keep supporting the team.

Speaking after the game, Ogunbote lamented his team's inability to task risk but promised to improve the team more going forward.

"This is a big challenge for us. Our inability to take risks has contributed to this, if we had taken enough risk in this game, we would have been able to get something, but it's a continuous thing, we will continue to train them, to make them understand our philosophy", he said.

Gbenga Ogunbote, however, expressed delight that the team is gradually getting its acts, stressing that as the season goes on, the synergy would be there.

"I'm happy that the synergy is coming in, we were able to show some understanding, and we were able to create some chances. All these were as a result of a process, it did not just happen in a day", added the soft-spoken sweat merchant.

He concluded by appealing to the teeming followers of the club to be patient and give the team more time to improve.

"All I want to plea for from our fans is more understanding and patience. On our part we will continue to work on the team and in no distance time, we will get there", the former Remo and Sunshine Stars FC gaffer assured.
