Nigeria strong midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo was in good shape in his side's Aris Thessaloniki FC win over Panetolikos in the Greece Super League on Thursday.

Etebo, 27 was on for 90 minutes in the hard fought and crucial win which keeps them sixth on the log with 25 points, 14 points adrift table toppers, Panaitolikos.

He made two crucial interceptions as he marshalled the midfield in his usual manner. Though shown the yellow card at some point of the game, the former Stock City player was rated by match statisticians after the game with a 4.2 star. The highest in his team got 4.6.

Andre Gray's 52nd minute goal was all the Aris needed to get all three points in the match day 15 encounter.

Etebo joined Aris in September on a three year deal after a four-year stint riddled with loan movement. He since then played seven matches for the three times champions of the league.

Aris go away from home on Wednesday, 4th January when they play PAOK in their next league game.
