Ogbonda Whyte reunites with Confluence Queens

Coach Ogbonda Whyte has returned to Confluence Queens following his re employment by the Kogi base club and unveiling on Friday.

Whyte who is on a second missionary journey after his first stint from 2019 to 2021 where he guided them to a top two finish in 2019.

The former Ibom Angels tactician who replaces Laidi Bashiru signed a contract that will link him with immediate effect until the end of the Nigeria Women’s Premier League season.

Bashir couldn't continue with the club after the expiration of his contract which was not renewed by the club.

Coach Whyte will be assisted by former Super Falcons defender, Esther ‘Tarashi’ Michael as head Coach, while Abdullahi Muhammed comes in as assistant coach and Bestman Ossai also returned as goalkeeper trainer.

Whyte whose credentials can't be overlooked will be expected to bring his expertise to bear as the Nigeria Women's Football League starts on the 30th of November.
