As announced on the club's official social network channels and their website, Watford signed French midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Sissoko joins Wolves from Tottenham on a two-year deal, and will look to add a veteran presence to Watford's midifield. The Frenchman has been playing in the Premier League since 2013, when he joined Newcastle from Toulouse.  With the Magpies he appeared in 118 Premier League games while scoring 11 goals for the club. In 2016 he joined Tottenham for 30M GBP, and went on to feature at White Hart Lane for four seasons in which he collected 141 caps for Spurs and scored three goals.

The defensive midfielder has been a part of the French National team in Euro 2016, the World Cup in 2018 that France won and Euro 2020, that ended in disgrace for Les Bleus. In total, he has made70 appearances for them, scoring twice. We'll see what impact his signing will have on Watford, the club hopes he can help them reach an important position in the League this year.
