The Columbus Crew announced Monday that they had signed French fullback Steven Moreira for the duration of the 2021 season, with options for 2022 and 2023.
The 27-year-old, who will fill an international roster spot, will be added to the Crew's squad after his International Transfer Certificate and P-1 Visa are received.
Moreira has nine years of European soccer experience and considerable time in France's top two divisions, having played with Toulouse FC from 2018 to 21. Moreira spent the 2016-19 season at FC Lorient before joining Toulouse. He's also a product of Stade Rennais FC's development system, having joined the club in 2012 and staying until 2016.
