Barely two weeks after the sales of Yira Sor to KRC Genk, Czech Republic side Slava Prague have announced the signing of another Nigeria youngster, Igoh Ogbu.
The 22 year old center-back played at the 2019 U-20 World Cup in Poland under Coach Paul Aigbogun before moving to Lillestorm in Norway.
Ogbu has now joined the former Czech champions from Lilleström for €1.7m on a four-year deal that will keep him in Eden until December 31, 2026.
Slavia sports director Ji?í Bílek has expressed his delight in the signing of the former Gombe United starlet.
“I believe that Igoh will be a valid reinforcement for Slavia. Scouting and our analysts did an excellent job.
“The negotiations were long but fair, I want to thank the player's agents and his former club Lilleström. And I wish Igoh the best of luck," says Slavia sports director Ji?í Bílek.
Ogbu will team up with compatriots Peter Olayinka and Moses Usor.
