In a statement that appeared on the club's website, Philadelphia Union officially announced they have extended Olivier Mbaizo's contract.
Details of the extension were not available at the moment of publication, however Mbaizo has been a crucial player for Philadelphia at the right-back position this season. The Cameroon international joined the club in 2018, and spent a couple of seasons with the Union's USL development team. in 2019 he made his debut for the MLS side, playing in three matches. His contributions to the club only increased in 2020, where he had an expanded role and appeared in 14 matches with 12 starts.
He's also represented Cameroon on four occasions, making his debut in 2016.
