Super Falcons defender, Glory Ogbonna has signed a new one-year contract with Turkish side, Besiktas, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Besiktas confirmed the contract extension in a statement on their X platform.
The statement read which confirms her stay until the end of 2024/25 season also revealved how importance she is to team’s success since she joined during the 2022/2023 season.

The center back defender made 28 appearances for Besiktas in the 2023/24 season, scoring one goal. Besiktas finished fourth in the Turkcell Women’s Football League last season.
Ogbonna expressed her delight at the new contract, saying, “Since joining Besiktas, it has been an amazing time, and the fans have been great. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”
Her contract extension is a testament to her impressive performance for the club, and she is expected to play a key role in Besiktas' campaign in the upcoming season.
