As already made clear by the club before it became official, 26-year old German international right-back and defensive midfielder Joshua Kimmich has been signed by Bayern Munich on a further long-term contract, whose deadline has been set at June 2025.
Playing for Bundesliga giants since 2015/16, former RB Leipzig player has so far won the grand total of 17 club trophies throughout his Bayern stint, including six national titles, 2019/20 Champions League, and 2020 FIFA Club World Cup. A Stuttgart alumni, Kimmich was the one to take over after former MiaSanMia captain Philipp Lahm.
