Orban signed a four-year deal with Hoffenheim that keeps him at the club till 2029 with a transfer value of €9 million, with an additional €3 million in potential add-ons.
Managing Director of Sport Andreas Schicker:
"In Gift Orban we have found exactly the fast striker with good depth that we were looking for."
The 22-year-old Gift Orban became the first ever Nigerian to sign for Ligue 1 side, Olympique Lyon last year, but things didn't quite work well for Orban in France, scoring five goals in 21 matches
He joins Kevin Akpoguma at the club.
