As announced on the club's Twitter account, Bordeaux have officially acquired Ricardo Mangas from Boavista.
The fullback arrives to les girondins on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy. Mangas had been linked with Cagliari, but chose to move to France and the Ligue 1 instead. Bordeaux, for their part, continue building up their squad, after last season they found themselves in dire financial trouble due to the pandemic.
The 23-year old played only one season with Boavista, appearing in 28 matches for the club and scoring 4 goals. He's also represented Portugal with various youth National Teams, but has never been called-up to the Senior team.
