TSG Hoffenheim signed Chris Richards for the rest of the current season. The 21-year-old is coming to Kraichgau from FC Bayern for one year. The American played for TSG in the second half of last season.
Richards has been part of FC Bayern since 2018. During that time, the central defender went through the U19s and the second team of the record champions before taking his first steps in the Bundesliga in Hoffenheim. For further experience in Germany's top league, Richards is now joining TSG again.
"Chris helped us in the last half-series as a strong and fast defender without starting problems," says Hoffenheim's manager Alexander Rosen.
