Parting ways with Bayern Munich, after a debut season which left him disappointed, out of having been lined up much less than he was expecting to, German goalkeeper Alexander Nübel has officially joined Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco, on 2-year loan spell.

Paderborn 07 alumni, who managed to stand out from Schalke 04 ranks, from 2015/16 to 2019/20, is still on a parent-club deal with Bundesliga defending champions until June 2025. He's turning 25 on September 30.
