Bendel Insurance head coach Monday Odigie after the stalemate in Ikenne said he hope his team “bounce back with good display in our next game” in their next game, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Following the 1-1 draw against Remo Stars on matchday 14 in the Nigeria Professional Football Leagu, the Benin Arsenal have now played three straight draws even tough they remain unbeaten.
Odigie, while reviewing the performance of his boys claimed they gave their best but wants them to focus to the end.
“We tried our best and we hoped for victory before the game but we take this point as it came and hope to bounce back with good display in our next game,” Odigie said after the game at the Remo Stars Stadium.
“We are getting closer to our objective which is securing a Super Six spot. It is important for the players not to relent at this crucial point of the season.
“We know how difficult things can be now with a lot of teams fighting for Super Six and also others battling to escape relegation.”
The group A leaders will welcome El-Kanemi for their next game.
